Once a palette swap is chosen, it becomes unavailable for other players. I'm not criticizing anything, this is just an observation I made of an incredibly minor point that really has little bearing on gameplay. Palette swaps are different color schemes or costumes of characters. Why don't anywhere from half-ish to two thirds of the playable Pokémon have their shiny costumes in the game?

So only Pikachu, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Jigglypuff, and sorta Greninja (the last two not exactly matching) have shinies, with Charizard, Mewtwo, Pichu, and Lucario (and tbh Greninja too) missing them. I'd still consider it having its shiny form though. This is pretty nitpicky, because it technically is the shiny color, but Jigglypuff's eyes don't change to green in Smash. Greninja has a black form, but the tongue is orange and its face is yellow, whereas in Pokémon its face is dark grey and its tongue is deep red. EDIT jk it's there, thanks /u/FellerScoot Ivysaur has it in Brawl, but I can't find anything for Ultimate. Pichu doesn't have one in Melee, but wasn't available for the demo, so no clue on this game. Mewtwo doesn't have its green shiny color, closest is cyan but really they aren't that similar.Ĭharizard, as mentioned, doesn't have its black shiny, though it does have a costume for its original purple shiny. Note that only Pokémon Trainer, Pikachu, and Mewtwo were available for the demo, so the others could change. In fact, multiple Pokémon don't, even accounting for what we've seen of SSBU. Inside the archive, there is a "Readme" to help you.I was playing some Smash Wii U and noticed that Charizard doesn't have its sleek black shiny color as a palette swap.

(with the things on his arms), an Jet Set Radio costume, etc.Īnyway I gived to you an really big update, I hope you will enjoy this. Shadow, costumes based on Sonic's alternate costumes for Smash Bros. Some extra costumes was delayed to multiples reasons, or still in WIP : Halloween Shadow from Sonic Runners, G.U.N. I wanted to release everything into a single pack to enjoy the moveset and also this new version with extra costumes. But the moveset took more times than I thought, the development was complicated.
#SMASH PALETTE SWAP EXPLANATION MOD#
The explanation about this is because this mod was delayed a lot of times because it was supposed to be released with a moveset. I know a lot of people have been waiting for this update, it's been three years I'm so sorry about that. For the Androids Shadow, I was aware that some people will not enjoy the inclusion of the gun that why I included an version without. Shadow comes with 31 alternates costumes!Įxtra costumes are all based on his official appareance in Sonic games, like I did for Silver. Not only some simple palette swap, but alternate costume based on Shadow appareance in Sonic games.
#SMASH PALETTE SWAP EXPLANATION UPDATE#
New expressions to match Shadow, appropriate material for his outfit, this new update also comes with a lot of alternate costumes. But now, Shadow returns in a new version. That first version of Shadow was a poor vertex edit, also made to showcase the development of SSB Wii U modding. Since this release, the modding scene progressed a lot and model import is possible. for Wii U, it's been already three years I released this one. It was my first hack for Super Smash Bros.
